Thrive Group are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in the Bolton area. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest standards, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out grounds maintenance duties including grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, planting, litter and leaf collection, bin emptying, and general upkeep of public areas.

• Maintain floral tributes and ensure site security at all times.

• Support painting and upkeep of public amenities such as gates, fences, and play equipment.

• Operate within all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Follow scheduled routes to ensure all plants are regularly watered and well maintained.

• Provide cover for colleagues as required, including crematorium and office duties.

• Use appropriate tools, machinery, and equipment safely and effectively.

• Undertake vegetation clearance and deep cleaning of public areas as needed.

Requirements:

• A full and valid UK Driving Licence (essential)

• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive attitude
