Job Psychiatric Support Worker, Bolton

Location: Cygnet Bury Forestwood, Buller Street, Bury, BL8 2BS
Service Users: Young people with complex mental health needs

About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Support Workers to join our multidisciplinary team at Cygnet Bury Forestwood. You will play a pivotal role in supporting young individuals facing challenges such as psychosis, self-harm, depression, anxiety, and emerging personality disorders. Your work will be integral in providing therapeutic interventions and assisting in the delivery of personalised care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs

• Support the delivery of therapeutic activities and interventions

• Monitor and report on the mental health and well-being of service users

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with regulatory standards

• Promote a safe and supportive environment for both service users and staff

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience working with young people in a mental health or care setting

• Understanding of mental health conditions and therapeutic interventions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively within a team

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
