In this role you will transform client briefs and concept designs into technically accurate, manufacturable signage solutions. Working closely with the Project Management Team, you'll take the lead from design intent to production, ensuring every detail meets structural, compliance, and installation standards. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role ideal for someone who thrives on variety and problem-solving within a creative engineering environment.

This role would suit a Draughtsperson/ CAD technician or similar, looking to join a fast-growing and forward-thinking manufacturer in the decorative lighting and signage industry. The company offers hands-on experience, ongoing development, and the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects. Ideally, the candidate will be confident in digital sketching and have an understanding of lighting, Adobe Illustrator, and metal or glass fabrication.

The Role (3 points):

• Produce detailed technical drawings and production-ready designs for illuminated, architectural, digital, and bespoke signage projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales, production, and installation teams to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and high-quality outcomes.
• Integrate lighting, wiring, and technical components into signage and lighting designs.

The Person (3 points):

• Proven experience in an engineering design or technical drafting role (signage, construction, or manufacturing background preferred).
• Proficient in design software such as CAD, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or FlexiSign.
• Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, structural design, and illumination techniques
